Senior Data Engineer - Data Platform team (100% Remote within Spain)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines
• Lead architectural decisions and proposals for the data platform
• Improve reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency of the platform
• Collaborate with platform engineers and data consumers to deliver self-service data
• Mentor other data engineers through code reviews and design feedback
• Drive automation and AI-assisted operations to reduce repeated work

🎯 Requirements

• Several years building/operating production data platforms (data warehousing, data lakes
• Strong Python and SQL, with solid software engineering practices
• Deep experience with an orchestrator (Airflow) and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Design for failure: idempotency, backfills, data quality checks, monitoring
• Clear communicator; able to explain trade-offs and write things down
