📋 Description
- Lead and support State Directors across multiple states to meet programmatic, financial
- Collaboratively set goals aligning state priorities with organizational objectives.
- Guide state teams in advocacy strategies within political, legislative, and policy landscapes.
- Build relationships with State Directors, stakeholders, and donors; represent state work externally.
- Travel ~1 week per month for state visits and organizational activities.
🎯 Requirements
- Nonpartisan mission focused on strengthening democracy and meaningful participation.
- Experience leading state-level or national issue-based advocacy campaigns; grassroots direction
- Understanding of state legislative processes, policy research, lobbying, and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of state political dynamics and established stakeholder relationships.
- People-management experience including coaching mid-level and senior professionals.
- Ability to lead coalitions, navigate diverse groups, and influence change; strong communication
