📋 Description

• Lead and support State Directors across multiple states to meet programmatic, financial
• Collaboratively set goals aligning state priorities with organizational objectives.
• Guide state teams in advocacy strategies within political, legislative, and policy landscapes.
• Build relationships with State Directors, stakeholders, and donors; represent state work externally.
• Travel ~1 week per month for state visits and organizational activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Nonpartisan mission focused on strengthening democracy and meaningful participation.
• Experience leading state-level or national issue-based advocacy campaigns; grassroots direction
• Understanding of state legislative processes, policy research, lobbying, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of state political dynamics and established stakeholder relationships.
• People-management experience including coaching mid-level and senior professionals.
• Ability to lead coalitions, navigate diverse groups, and influence change; strong communication
