Data Architect/Modeler

📋 Description

• Design and develop enterprise data models for BI, analytics, and reporting
• Implement data modeling best practices in a lakehouse environment
• Architect scalable data structures (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data models
• Work with data engineers to map logical to physical models (Delta Lake, cloud platforms)
• Define canonical data models for key domains

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in data architecture, data modeling, or related fields
• Expertise in dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas, relational modeling, Data Vault
• Strong SQL, relational/non-relational databases; Delta Lake, Azure, Synapse, Databricks familiarity
• Familiar with Microsoft Fabric, Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture
• Experience designing enterprise data models for analytics and BI
• Advanced SQL for modeling, analysis, validation
